Longville Lake is 103 acres, perfect for all kinds of activities. The lake is said to have large bass and lovely water, which makes it good for fishing.

Longville Lake Park isn't too far, offering a campground and RV park for visitors. It also has a boat launch, fishing areas, a trail, and several pavilions.

Visit Dequincy

Longville Lake residents can drive a short half-hour to Dequincy, Louisiana to visit the Dequincy Railroad Museum, which is housed in the 1923 Kansas City Southern Depot. The museum acquires, preserves, and displays artifacts of the railroad industry. It contains a variety of railroad memorabilia on display including a restored 1913 steam locomotive, a 1947 passenger coach, and two vintage cabooses.
